Learning a new skill from square one can be challenging. When we think about how much more there is for us to learn, we might feel completely overwhelmed. Even more so if we haven’t broken our skill down into subskills properly. Furthermore, each of those subskills is dependent on properly learned fundamentals.
MATLAB Fundamentals training course gives a thorough introduction to the MATLAB® technical computing environment. You don’t need to have any prior programming experience or knowledge of MATLAB. You will learn core MATLAB® functionality for data analysis, visualization, modeling, and programming.
Prerequisites: Undergraduate-level mathematics and experience with basic computer operations
The training course will cover next topics:
- Working with the MATLAB user interface
- Entering commands and creating variables
- Analyzing vectors and matrices
- Visualizing vector and matrix data
- Working with data files
- Working with data types
- Automating commands with scripts
- Writing programs with branching and loops
- Writing functions
After this 3–day course, you will be able to:
- Write programs to automate complex tasks
- Perform calculations and data analysis with
- vectors and matrices
- Create informative data visualizations
